You will stay in the small private guest-house with local
hearty hosts in the Vishnevaya village and will see small
towns and villages scattered in the picturesque Carpathian
Mountains, waterfalls, clear lakes and rivers, enjoy local
home-made Ukrainian and Hungarian food, taste domestic wine
from private vineyards, meet friendly local people and be
welcomed anywhere you go. During this 6-day tour you will
also visit Uzhgorod Botanical Garden, Medieval
Castles-Museums in Uzhgorod, Mukachevo and Nevitske and
open air Folk Life museum in Uzhgorod.

It is a journey to Ukraine, not only as a country but also into Ukrainian life. It is for
those travellers who would rather have home-stay with locals than hotel with other
tourists, taste home-made food instead of eating out in a usual European cuisine
restaurant and meet more new people to gain better idea about their country.
This tour option includes home-stay accommodation at a private-hotel cottage in
Vishnevaya village nearby Uzhgorod (Sauna, Internet access, open terrace, spacious
living room); home-made breakfasts, including own garden vegetables and fruits (except
for wintertime); dinner at Hungarian village; wine tasting; English-speaking guide
full time; sightseeing including admissions; ground transportation from and to Uzhgorod
and for the tour duration; visa support if required.
Other meals, as well as other excursions or side trips are available upon request at
additional fee.
